The project comprised the construction of five new buildings and the restoration of the existing Grade 2 listed Arts and Crafts house. 36 new student bedrooms  together with Wardens accommodation, common rooms and an art block were created.

Construction is in the main of CLT and all areas are naturally ventilated.

Extensive modelling was carried out to ensure that the large areas of glazing did not cause overheating and that areas such as teh art block were well lit.
